Information We Collect
We collect personal information only when you voluntarily provide it through our website:
- Booking & enquiry form — your name, email address, desired package, preferred shoot date, and any message you include. This information opens a pre-filled WhatsApp message sent directly to Mila.
- WhatsApp & Telegram messages — if you contact us directly via WhatsApp or Telegram, we receive the content of those messages and your contact details as provided by the messaging platform.
- Session details — information you share during consultation (locations, preferences, names of participants) used solely to plan and execute your photography session.
How We Use Your Information
Information you provide is used exclusively for:
- Responding to your enquiry and booking your photography session
- Planning and coordinating the shoot (locations, timing, logistics)
- Delivering your edited photo gallery
- Sending follow-up communications related to your session
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Photography & Image Rights
Copyright: All photographs taken by Milavi Photography remain the intellectual property of Mila Ulashkevych. Upon full payment, clients receive a personal-use licence to print, share, and enjoy their photos for non-commercial purposes.
Portfolio use: By booking a session, you grant Milavi Photography the right to display selected images on our website, social media (Instagram, etc.), and promotional materials. If you prefer your photos not to be used publicly, please let us know in writing before your session — we will respect your request without condition.
Client gallery: Your private photo gallery is hosted on a secure cloud service (wfolio.com). Access is provided via a private link. We do not share your gallery link with any third party.
Third-Party Services
This website uses the following third-party services that may process limited technical data:
- Google Fonts — typefaces (Cormorant Garamond and Inter) are loaded from Google's servers. Your IP address is transmitted to Google when fonts are requested. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- wfolio.com — your private client gallery is hosted on wfolio. When you view your gallery, wfolio's servers process your IP address. See wfolio's terms for details.
- WhatsApp / Telegram — if you use the booking form, a pre-filled message is opened in WhatsApp. Sending that message is subject to WhatsApp's privacy policy. We do not receive any data until you actively send the message.
Cookies & Local Storage
This website does not set cookies. We use browser localStorage only to remember your language preference (EN or FR) so it is preserved on return visits. No personal information is stored locally.
Data Retention
Enquiry and booking data is retained for up to 24 months to allow follow-up and to fulfil our contractual obligations. Session planning details may be kept for the duration of the relationship and up to 12 months after the last interaction.
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing Wolfandwolf4747@gmail.com and we will comply within 30 days.
Your Rights Under PIPEDA
Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) gives you the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
