1. Services
Mila Ulashkevych, operating as Milavi Photography, provides professional photography services in Toronto, the GTA, and beyond — including weddings, engagement sessions, family, portrait, maternity, and event photography.
All bookings are subject to these Terms & Conditions. By booking a session or wedding with Milavi Photography, you agree to the terms below.
2. Booking & Payment
Retainer: A non-refundable retainer of 30% of the total package price is required to reserve your date. The retainer is deducted from the total balance due.
Final payment: The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the session date. For weddings, full payment is due 14 days before the wedding day.
Payment methods: E-transfer, credit card, or cash. Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Cancellation by client: The retainer is non-refundable in all cases. If you cancel within 30 days of your session, the full balance remains due.
- Rescheduling: One rescheduling request is accepted at no additional cost, provided it is made at least 14 days in advance and a new date is available. Additional reschedules may incur a rebooking fee.
- Weather & unforeseen circumstances: Outdoor sessions affected by severe weather may be rescheduled at no charge. Milavi Photography will not be responsible for circumstances beyond our control (illness, natural disasters, etc.).
- Cancellation by Milavi Photography: In the unlikely event we must cancel, a full refund of all payments made will be issued promptly.
4. Gallery Delivery
Turnaround time: Edited photos are delivered within 7–14 business days for portrait sessions and 4–6 weeks for weddings, via a private online gallery link.
Number of images: The minimum number of delivered images is specified in your package. Milavi Photography selects the final images based on professional judgment — all rejected frames (closed eyes, test shots, duplicates) are not included in the delivery.
Editing style: Photos are edited in Mila's signature style. Requests for heavy retouching, style changes, or raw (unedited) files are not included and may be quoted separately.
Gallery access: Your private gallery is hosted at wfolio.com and remains accessible for 12 months from the delivery date. We strongly recommend downloading your photos promptly.
5. Intellectual Property & Image Rights
Copyright: All photographs taken by Milavi Photography remain the intellectual property of Mila Ulashkevych. Copyright is retained by the photographer at all times.
Client licence: Upon receipt of full payment, clients receive a personal-use licence to print, share, and enjoy their images for non-commercial purposes. Selling or licensing the images to third parties is not permitted without written consent.
Portfolio use: Milavi Photography reserves the right to display delivered images on the website, social media, and promotional materials. If you prefer your images remain private, please notify us in writing before your session — this request will be respected without condition.
Credit: When sharing your photos online, we kindly ask that you credit @milavi.photography.
6. Website Use
By using this website, you agree to:
- Use the site lawfully and respectfully
- Not copy, download, or reuse any images or content without prior written permission
- Provide accurate information when submitting contact or booking forms
All content on this website — photographs, text, design — is protected under copyright law and is the sole property of Milavi Photography.
7. Limitation of Liability
Milavi Photography's liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific session in question. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
In the rare event of equipment failure, accident, or unforeseen circumstances that result in loss of images, liability is limited to a refund of fees paid. We always carry backup equipment and take every precaution to protect your images.
8. Changes to These Terms
Milavi Photography reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
